You clearly don't have kids in college, a 24 year old daughter able to avail herself of her parents' health insurance, or live in a town that has managed to hold onto its teachers thanks to ARRA funds.

That ain't rhetoric,Eli. That's my REALITY, put as simply as I can.

Run a candidate via a Party that will ensure I retain those benefits,along with the cornucopia of good things we agree we need, that stands even the remotest chance of winning, and I'm with ya.

But please don't tell this parent that the only difference between the two parties is rhetorical.  THAT's disingenuous as all hell.  

Maybe Greens can afford to swallow their own rhetoric. I literally cannot.

YOU GUYS!  Eli took a shot at the 2 party system and Horan basically called Eli a child for supporting Greens that have no shot in hell (See Stein Campaign).  

No doubt Eli will be pissed when he gets back!

Oooooooh shit man!  The "Parent Card" comes out! I'd hate to be Eli right now!  

It's hard to counter the Parent Card especially if Horan was a chick.  If he was like 'Don't tell this mother of 2 blah blah blah' or even better .... 'Don't tell this SINGLE mother of 2 blah blah blah' we'd be diggin Eli's grave right now.

Me on the other hand ... I would have stayed and fought Horan.  I would see his "2 children" and then I'd raise him.  

'Oh yeah Horan ... I'm a father of 2 little ones ... who are mentally handicapped! So don't tell this father of 2 (special needs children) that there is a difference between the 2 major parties!  THERE ISN'T!  When they were closing facilities across this state I heard NOTHING BUT RHETORIC from the DEMS.  But when the time came, no action! Doors were closed! Patients thrown out into the streets! WHY!  Because these people don't have lobbyist, they don't have the MTA and they don't have anything to bribe the Dems with.'

Watch your daughter and her friends in their job search at age 24 and 25.  Then let us know if you noticed a difference in how agressive they are in their job search AFTER they are kicked off their parents insurance.
